Dementia Care

Envigor supports individuals and their partner / primary care living with dementia and wishing to remain in the familiarity of their own home.  Like many progressive degenerative diseases, the severity with which the effects and symptoms of dementia present vary significantly for the individual, dependent upon the specifics of the underlying disease process and the degree of progression.

For the partner and immediate family, living with and supporting the individuals’ personal choice to remain at home; maintaining their independence (as far as possible) while ensure the going safety and security of the individual and those around them, can be extremely demanding physically and emotionally.

Moving away from the generic ‘package’ approach to in-home and community based services; Envigor personnel assess individual needs and deliver services based on the philosophy of ‘Personalised Care’.

With the aid of trained Envigor staff, and backed by specialist healthcare professionals with direct links to extensive health and community networks, it is possible for most people with dementia and their partner / primary carer / immediate family to be successfully supported in the choice ‘they’ have made to remain in their own home.
